Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a labourer and he has faced tragic consequences because of the warrant of arrest which has been issued in connection with Kolkata Leather Complex Police Station Case No.163 dated 12.11.2019.

I find that last of the order-sheet is of 15th July, 2023. Till the said date, warrant of arrest was not executed. If subsequently any harsher process of law has been issued by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Baruipur, I direct that the same be kept in abeyance till 5th April, 2024. If in the meantime petitioner surrenders/appears before the jurisdictional court, he may be allowed to continue on the same bail and bond subject to condition that he will not leave the jurisdiction of Kolkata Leather Complex Police Station and will meet with the Officer-inCharge/Inspector-in-Charge of Kolkata Leather Complex Police Station till further orders of the learned trial court. In case the petitioner do not appear or surrender before

the learned trial court by 5th April, 2024, learned trial court would be at liberty to issue harsher process of law adhering to Section 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 795 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
