The present revisional application has been preferred by the petitioners for quashing of proceedings in connection with G.R. No. 292 of 2014 (arising out of Jalpaiguri Kotwali Police Station Case No. 44 of 2014 dated 18.01.2014) under Sections 498A/406 of the Indian Penal Code.

The brief fact of the case is that the opposite party No. 2complainant lodged written complaint before Inspector InCharge, Kotwali Police Station alleging, inter alia, that after few months of her marriage she has been subjected to torture both mentally and physically in the matrimonial. In view of such materials, the proceeding before the trial court does not call for interference. Accordingly, the present revisional application stands dismissed.

All connected applications stand disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
