1. Parties are represented through their respective learned counsel.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that so far his grievance regarding issuance of SC/ST Certificate is concerned, in view of Division Bench judgment of this court in The All Matua Mahasangha & Ors. vs. The State of West Bengal & Ors., WPA(P) 170 of 2025, the remedy is elsewhere.

3. However, so far issuance of OBC Certificate (Annexure-'P2') dated 4th July, 2006, is concerned, he submits that against this certificate he has already preferred

representation to concerned Sub-Divisional Officer, Medinipur Sadar, on 23rd February, 2026, which is pending consideration.

4. Learned counsel for State submits that said SDO may be directed to decide the said representation in accordance with law.

5. Learned counsel for petitioner has no objection.

6. Considering the aforesaid, we deem it proper to dispose of this petition by permitting the petitioner to resubmit the said representation dated 23rd February, 2026, along with server copy of this order before the SDO, Medinipur Sadar. In turn, the said SDO shall consider the said representation after hearing the Respondent No.9 and pass a speaking order in accordance with law.

7. The entire exercise be completed within 90 days from the date of communication of this order.

8. With aforesaid and without expressing any opinion on merits, the petition is disposed of.

9. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, on priority basis, upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
