Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that though a complaint was lodged on 18th February, 2026 before the Officer-in-Charge, Thanarpara Police Station, Nadia but the concerned police authorities have not taken any steps. It is further submitted that petitioner is not getting passage for ingress and egress on a particular piece of land due to obstruction made by the private respondent.

Petitioner prays for direction upon the concerned police authorities which would facilitate the petitioner by conferring right of passage for ingress and egress on the particular piece of land.

Private respondent is represented by learned advocate who submits that a construction has been made by

the petitioner on the particular land without any provision for ingress and egress. Right of the petitioner to ingress and egress on the particular land is disputed on behalf of the private respondent. 5.

State respondents are also represented by learned advocate.

Having considered the submission made on behalf of the parities it appears that petitioner is seeking a direction upon the concerned police authorities to ingress and egress to and from the premises of the petitioner which appears to be a civil dispute. 7.

Therefore, no relief can be granted in this writ petition.

Writ petition stands dismissed.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps, in accordance with law, in pursuit of appropriate remedy.
