The petitioners happen to be Superior Kerosene Oil Dealer.

The petitioners apprehend that a separate S.K. Oil licence may be issued on compassionate ground in favour of the heirs of one Sohan Ali Khan since deceased.

The petitioners objected to the grant of S.K. Oil licence on compassionate ground to the heirs of the deceased Sohan Ali Khan by filing a representation through their learned advocate in August 2021 and alleges that the same has not been taken up for consideration till date.

On perusal of the representation filed on behalf of the petitioners and after going through the averments made in the writ petition, it appears that the same are absolutely vague and devoid of the necessary details.

From the representation and the averments made in the writ petition it does not appear that there is any cause of action for filing the instant writ petition. There is nothing on record to show that the respondent authorities are taking steps to grant licence in favour of the heirs of the deceased. There is no mention of the name of the deceased dealer or the name of the heirs of the deceased dealer in the representation allegedly filed on behalf of one of the petitioners herein. There is absolutely no merit in the writ petition. In view of the above, no relief can be granted in favour of the petitioner in the present writ petition. The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent certified photo copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
