The petitioner claims to be the second wife of a retired primary school teacher.

According to the personal law of the teacher he is entitled to have more than one wife.

There is a private dispute in between the petitioner and the retired teacher. The petitioner claims some amount from the pensionary benefit of the teacher which the teacher is not inclined to pay to the petitioner. As it appears that there is personal dispute in between the private parties it will not be proper for the writ Court to enter and decide the contentious issues.

The pension sanctioning authority will take necessary steps in accordance with law for sanctioning and disbursing the pension in favour of the teacher. The writ petition stands disposed of.
