The petitioner has alleged unauthorised construction by respondent nos. 8 to 14.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that, in compliance with the order dated February 20, 2025, a letter was addressed to the Pradhan, Dingakhola Gram Panchayat, Howrah.

In the present case, it appears that the petitioner has approached this Court seeking implementation of the order dated November 19, 2018 after a lapse of nearly seven years. No explanation whatsoever has been furnished in the writ petition for such a belated approach. In the facts and circumstances of the case, and having regard to the inordinate delay, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present writ petition.

This, however, shall not preclude the petitioner from

availing themselves of any other remedy available to them in law for implementation of the order dated November 19, 2018.

Accordingly, WPA 5080 of 2025 stands dismissed. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
