Petitioner renews the prayer for bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 238 days. The petitioner was falsely implicated. The petitioner deposited a sum of Rs.7 lakhs without prejudice to the rights and contentions. Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that the prayer for bail was rejected on December 30, 2021 in CRM 9064 of 2021. There is hardly any material change in circumstances subsequent thereto.

It is alleged as against the petitioner that he is involved in the defalcation of public money in excess of Rs.35 lakhs. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the fact that there is hardly any material change in circumstances subsequent to the earlier order of rejection dated December 30,

2021 passed in CRM 9064 of 2021, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (DB) 766 of 2022 is dismissed.
