The petitioner claims to be the uncle and the grievance which has been addressed is against the father and grandfather of the alleged minor child concerned.

There are no documents in support of the contention of the petitioner which has been enclosed along with the writ petition and it has been claimed that

the victim happens to be the minor girl who has been forcefully married. However, there is no reference of any case being registered.

Since none appears on behalf of the State, Ms. Neelam Singh, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to represent the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

Having considered the period of time which has elapsed in the meantime, I grant liberty to the petitioner to send a reminder to the police authorities in respect of the communication made earlier.

The concerned police authorities would send appropriate reply or response to the petitioner as also the father and grandfather of the minor child referred to in the writ petition.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 4958 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
