This revisional application has been filed for expeditious disposal of the Original Suit No. 324 of 2014 pending before the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 2nd Court, Tamluk, Purba Medinipur. It appears from records that an application under Order 6 Rule 7 has been filed by the defendants praying for amendment of the written statement which has not yet been disposed of. The Suit is of 2008. Records reveal that several adjournments have been prayed for on behalf of the defendants.

Under such circumstances, this revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned court below to dispose of the suit expeditiously within a year from the next date fixed along with the application for amendment in accordance with law.

It is made clear that this court has not gone into the merits of the case and the learned court below shall proceed independently.

The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application along with the server copy of this order upon the opposite parties and/or their learned advocate(s) appearing in the court below within a week from date.

The revisional application is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible subject to compliance of all usual formalities.
