It appears from record that the petitioner was lastly represented in this Court on 11th January, 2023. Since, thereafter, no one is appearing for the petitioner and the State as well. This matter pertains to the year 2016 and is being called on each day of sitting of this Bench. Since it appears that the petitioner is not interested to appear in Court to proceed with the case, the same is taken up for disposal on merit, in absence of the parties.

The petitioner in this case has challenged the criminal proceedings in connection with Patuli police station case no. 643 of 2013 dated 28.09.2013 under Sections 498A, 420, 406, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act (A.C.G.R. Case no. 6289 of 2013).

The petitioner has prayed for quashing of the said proceedings on the ground that no cognizable offence has been made out against her. On perusal of the entire materials available on record and the grounds made up by the petitioner I am constrained to find that the grounds thereof are not sufficient and cogent enough to warrant this Court's interference into the impugned order. Hence, in my considered opinion the revision is liable to be dismissed. Criminal Revision being CRR 535 of 2016 is dismissed. All pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
