Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record.

Statements of witnesses and contemporaneous document i.e. seizure memorandum show recovery of 104.150 kgs. of ganja recovered from a pickup van. Petitioner was present in the van. Trial has already commenced.

Under such circumstances and in view of statuary restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. 4.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

We direct the trial court to conduct trial by fixing schedules at short intervals and conclude the same at an early date preferably within 18 months from the next date

fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

Parties shall co-operate and communicate this order to the Trial Court for due compliance.
