Seeking a direction upon the respondents to allow the petitioner to participate in the interview when the same would be held to fill up the post of ASHA under Haldibari Gram Panchayat No.1, Village Mundamari (Part), district - Purba Medinipur, the present writ petition was preferred.

The selection process to fill up the post was initiated in 2009. I am of the view that with the passage of time the writ petition has become infructuous. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of without any order.

Interim order passed earlier in the writ petition stands vacated.
