1. The writ petitioner claims to be State Secretary of Anti Crime and Corruption Squad, West Bengal and the representations have been sent in the letter pad of the said organisation as could be seen from page Nos.18 to 22 of the annexures to the writ petition. When we called upon the learned advocate for the petitioner to produce registration certificate of the said organisation, what has been produced before us is an appointment certificate and an identity card. It is clear as to how the petitioner can form a society under the name and style Anti Crime and Corruption Squad and form an organisation, which admittedly does not have any registration.

2. Further, it has been pointed out by the learned senior government advocate that the logo of the organisation resembles the logo of the West Bengal State Police.

3. Learned advocate appearing for the private respondents submitted that the petitioner is in the habit of extracting money by filing such frivolous cases and the petitioner is not a bona fide public interest litigant.

4. As observed by us, no person can claim himself Secretary forming such an organisation called Anti Crime and Corruption Squad and this is sufficient to hold that the petition lacks bona fide and the organisation cannot be recognised to be having any legal right to exist and subsist any further.

5. With the above observations, the writ petition is dismissed.
