The petitioner is a Group-D Staff of Jalchak Nateswari Netaji Vidyayatan (H.S), Paschim Medinipur. The petitioner on being sponsored by the concerned Employment Exchange was directed to appear before the authority for Interview on May 27, 2000.

The petitioner ultimately got the appointment on January 05, 2007. The petitioner is praying notional benefit of his said appointment from the date when he was asked to appear before the Interview Board.

The prayer is absolutely misconceived, as such the writ petition being WPA 5227 of 2024 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
