Petitioner seeks bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that given the medical condition of the petitioner and the fact that he is admitted in a government hospital by the jail authorities, the prayer for bail of the petitioner should be considered.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. She submits that the petitioner murdered his wife. She refers to the post-mortem report of the victim.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (DB) 770 of 2022 is dismissed.
