The petitioner has filed this writ petition praying for compensation in respect of certain plots of land, the particulars of which has been mentioned in paragraph 2 of the writ petition on the ground that the same has been acquired.

Mr. Jena, learned advocate appearing for the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Port Trust submits that a writ petition being WPA 28144 of 2025 with almost identical allegations was filed and the same was disposed of by this Court by an order dated February 2, 2026 upon taking into consideration the letter dated December 9, 2025. As rightly argued by Mr. Jena, learned advocate, the said letter dated December 9, 2025 has not been annexed to this writ petition.

A copy of the writ petition being WPA 28144 of 2025 has been produced by Mr. Jena, which is taken on record. After going through the same, this Court finds that the plots of land which was the subject matter of the said writ petition also forms the subject matter of this writ petition as would be evident from the plot numbers mentioned in paragraph 2 of this writ petition. This Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the writ petitioner as the earlier writ petition was disposed of by recording that the grievances of the petitioner stood redressed with the reply furnished by letter dated 09.12.2025. Accordingly, the same stands disposed of.

Though this is a fit case for dismissal of the writ petition with exemplary cost but this Court refrains from imposing any cost with a caution to the petitioner. There will be no order as to costs.
