Begg ... for the State The petitioners are directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon Mr. Tanmoy Kr. Ghosh, Ld. Advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. His appearance may be regularised by the concerned authority. The subject-matter of this revisional applicaton relates to Bhadreswar P.S. Case No. 84 of 2020 dated 4.3.2020.

The petitioner submits that in spite of the case having been initiated for more than three and half years ago, but, there has been no progress in the case. The investigating agency on conclusion of investigation submitted charge-sheet in connection with the instant case on or about 31st May, 2020. Further, till date,

charges have not been considered by the ld. Jurisdictional court.

Having regard to the same, I direct that the ld. Magistrate after compliance of the document under Section 207 of the Cr.P.C. will proceed to consider the charges on the next date so fixed or within a fortnight thereafter. Having regard to the fact that more than three and half years have passed, in the meantime, I direct that the ld. Magistrate would fix at least one date in every three months so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournment will be granted to either of the parties. Ld Public Prosecutor conducting the case would produce the materials, exhibits and documents for examination of the witnesses. All stakeholders would cooperate with the ld. Trial court so that the trial is completed at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 776 of 2023 is disposed of.
