The Chairman of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission has filed a report, which is taken on record. A copy of the same be made available to the counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner disputes that his ranking as lower than that of other candidates, who have opted for the same school for transfer.

Since there are disputes of questions of facts as regards the marks (for priority of transfer) awarded to the other candidates, the D. I. of Schools shall revisit his records and marks given to each teacher on the basis of circular ascertaining seniority for transfer. The head of the Institution shall furnish all necessary information as regards the teachers strength and transfer application pending to the D. I. of Schools. The decision passed by the D. I. of Schools be

made available to the writ petitioner within seven days thereof.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
