1. Heard learned lawyers for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Minor victim has implicated the petitioner in the offence of penetrative sexual assault.

3. In view of the gravity of offence and the evidence on record, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.

5. Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date.
