Guha Mr. Rajendra Chaturvedi ... for the State-respondent(s) The petitioner has approached this court as she was aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as the police authorities did not interfere in spite of informing them regarding the incidents complained of against the private respondent no.6.

According to the petitioner, in spite of cognizable offence being made out, the police authorities failed to take any step thereby allowing the respondent no.6 to continue with her atrocity against the petitioner.

Learned advocate for the State

has submitted a report which reflects that a strict vigil has been kept so that no untoward incident takes place at the location referred to in the writ petition.

The petitioner is also aggrieved regarding the activities of the police authorities for non-registration of the case. The petitioner, if she is so advised, would approach the jurisdictional Magistrate by invoking the power under Section 175(3) of the BNSS.

In the meantime, the police authorities would continue their surveillance and ensure that no breach of peace and tranquility takes place as also no untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 5232 of 2024 is disposed of.
