The petitioner approached this Court against the charge which was framed under Section 401A of Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act.

Learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the State has submitted a communication dated 19.01.2024 made by the Additional Officer-in-Charge, Chetla Police Station which reflects that trial has been completed and the petitioner has been acquitted of the charges.

In view of the communication so made along with the photostat copies of the certified copy of the judgement/order dated 08.01.2024, I am of the opinion that this revisional application has become infructuous.

Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 872 of 2022 is dismissed as infructuous.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

Report/communication dated 19.01.2024 so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
