This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents authorities in considering her 'Application for General Transfer on Special Grounds'.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that all documents have been sent to the Commissioner of School Education including 'No Objection' certificate and the application of the petitioner has not been paid any heed till date.

I have heard counsel appearing on behalf of the parties and perused the materials on record. In light of the same, the Commissioner of School Education, West Bengal is directed to take a decision on the petitioner's 'Application for General Transfer on Special Grounds' within a period of eight weeks from date.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. 5.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition is called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
