The petitioner is the estranged husband of the opposite party. Marriage of the parties has been dissolved by a mutual decree of divorce.

The petitioner filed an application stating, inter alia, that the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kalyani has no jurisdiction to try the case under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure which the opposite party filed praying for maintenance for herself and her child.

The learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kalyani vide impugned order dated 11th November, 2022 rejected the application

filed by the petitioner on the ground that he has no jurisdiction to transfer the case from Kalyani to Barrackpur. There is nothing illegality in the order impugned. So, I do not find any merit in the instant revision. Accordingly, the instant revision is summarily dismissed. (Bibek Chaudhuri, J.) Mithun De/ A.R. (Ct).
