Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner contended that in respect of Narendrapur Police Station Case No. 1243 of 2022 although the case was initiated under the provisions of Sections 376/417/506 of the Indian Penal Code and charge-sheet submitted therein and the case committed to the court of sessions, the petitioner and the opposite party no.2 have married and are leading a happy conjugal life. Having regard to the nature of the Sections for which the case has been registered and the change of circumstances which may have larger effect on the society, I direct that on 06.03.2024, the next date so fixed before the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Baruipur, efforts be made for completion of the process of consideration of charge. If after consideration of the charge, the learned trial court is of the opinion that trial of the case is to be held, then in that case all efforts be made to conclude the evidence of the victim as prosecution witness no.1 within one month from the said date.

The petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court with the evidence of the victim along with all the

connected papers relied upon by the prosecution after the said stage is over.

In case there is any resolution of the local Bar, the learned participating advocates will not stall the proceedings and would stick to the time line which has been fixed by this Court.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 816 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
