Petitioners seek bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that considering the period of detention of the petitioners and the fact that the police submitted charge sheet, the prayer for bail of the petitioners should be allowed.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that the deceased made a dying declaration before the person who recorded a statement under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. He submits that the petitioners were involved in the incident as per such statement.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the

involvement of the petitioners therein as transpiring from the materials available in the case diary, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.

C.R.M. (DB) 772 of 2022 is dismissed.
