The petitioner participated in the 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 for recruitment of Assistant Teachers in Higher Secondary Schools under General Category for the subject Bengali (GRAD).

A report was called for from the West Bengal Central School Service Commission as the petitioner is alleging that the merit was compromised in selecting the candidates for the personality test,.

Ms. Dubey, learned counsel for the Commission files such report, which is taken on record.

It appears from the said report that marks obtained by the petitioner in the said selection test is lesser than the marks obtained by the last candidate called for personality test in the category of the petitioner.

In view of such position of the matter, the allegation of the petitioner is not sustainable, W.P.A. 4782 of 2022 is accordingly dismissed without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
