The petitioners approached this Court praying for a direction upon the respondent authorities to quash/cancel/set aside the election programme which was fixed by the Board of Madrasah Education in respect of Dhuliyan High Madrasah (H.S.).

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration an order of the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education being Memo No. 19/Law/2022 dated 21st March, 2022 has been produced in Court wherefrom it appears that the Board has taken a decision to cancel the Managing Committee Election Schedule.

As it appears that the relief prayed for by the petitioners has already been granted, accordingly, there is no requirement to proceed with the writ petition any further.

The writ petition has become infructuous in view of the subsequent development taken place.

Memo No. 19/Law/2022 dated 21st March, 2022 issued by the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education be retained with the records.

Writ petition stands dismissed as 'infructuous'. Urgent certified photo copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
