1. By filing this public interest litigation the petitioner alleges improper implementation of the scheme/project called Mission Nirmal Bangla Project in Saralpur Gram Panchayat by which toilets are constructed at the houses of the beneficiaries on contributory basis.

2. Prima facie from the documents annexed to the writ petition we find that benefits have been provided as could be seen from the communications of the Block Development Officer, Bhagwangola-II Development Block dated 25.09.2024, 23.09.2020, 09.09.2020 and 15.10.2020. Yet the petitioner would state that several persons have not been granted the benefit of the scheme. In the writ petition there is no specific allegation in regard to the number of persons, to whom the benefit has not been extended though they

have deposited their respective share of contribution. Therefore, we dispose of the writ petition giving an opportunity to the petitioner to specifically mention the name of those beneficiaries, who have not been granted the benefits despite being deposited their respective share of contribution before the appropriate authority. Such representation be submitted before the 7th respondent, namely, the Block Development Officer, Bhagwangola-II Development Block within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the server copy of this order enclosing a list of beneficiaries, who have not been granted benefits. Alongwith such representation a copy of this order shall also be enclosed. On receipt of the representation, the Block Development Officer, Bhagwangola-II Development Block, shall enquire into the matter and proceed to take action in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.
