The learned advocate representing the C. S. T. C. has filed a report in the form of affidavit in terms of order dated 20.12.2024 passed by this court which, inter alia, stated that the Branch Manager of Punjab National Bank had transferred the existing credit balance with regard to payment of gratuity and other retirement benefits of Late Chittaranjan Guria which had been transferred to the Bank Account of the present petitioner at Bangiya Gramin Bikash Bank, Fatepur Branch. The documents marked as 'R/1', 'R/2' and 'R/3' stand substantially corroborate the Account on the part of the C.S.T.C. to have disbursed the amount of gratuity and other retirement benefits to the Account of Late Chittaranjan Guria, the Late husband of the petitioner. It has been subsequently transferred to the Bank Account of the petitioner.

Let such report in the form of affidavit be kept with the record.

Since she received the entire amount as agitated, the writ petition has become infructuous and, accordingly, disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on urgent basis after compliance of all necessary formalities.
