Ganguly ....for the State The post mortem report of the victim states that, the death was due to the effects of burn injuries, ante mortem in nature.

There are dying declarations of the victim claiming that, the petitioner was involved in pouring kerosene oil over her and setting her ablaze.

The police case is of October 14, 2020.

Considering the long absconsion of the petitioner, the dying declarations and the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 965 of 2023 is dismissed.
