Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, a 'toto' was recovered from the petitioner, which was alleged to be stolen. The petitioner did not have any knowledge of the theft at the time of purchasing the same. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, the petitioner is a part of the racket, under which a 'toto' is initially stolen and thereafter taken and sold for consideration. The 'toto', which was stolen, was kept at the house of the petitioner and recovered therefrom.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1324 of 2022 is dismissed.
