The petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Mahila Police Station, Burdwan Sadar, Purba Bardhaman.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the police made an appropriate enquiry. She could not produce any documents.

This Court is of the view that the petitioner may explore alternative remedy under section 156(3) of the CrPC.

Reserving liberty to the petitioner to institute an appropriate civil or statutory proceeding, if the same is not barred by limitation, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
