Chowdhury ... for the Petitioner Mr. Anand Keshri ... for the State The petitioner was facing the trial in connection with Amdanga P.S. Case No. 414 of 2020 dated 3.7.2020. The ld. Special Court on being dissatisfied with the conduct of the petitioner issued warrant of arrest. I am also not satisfied with the conduct of the present petitioner. However, having regard to the fact that the ld. Advocate appearing for the petitioner, undertakes to cooperate with the progress of the trial, I direct that, in case, the petitioner appears/surrenders before the ld. Special Court, the ld. Special Court would allow the petitioner to continue with the same bail and bond subject to the conditions which the ld. Special Court deems fit and proper.

For the time being the petitioner shall meet with the inspector in charge/officer in charge of Amdanga P.S. once

in a week for a period of six months or until modified by the ld. Special Court.

A compliance report be sent by the inspector in charge/officer in charge of Amdanga P.S. to the ld. Special Court.

In case, the petitioner do not appear and/or surrender before the ld. Special Court within the time framed referred to above, then, the ld. Special Court would resort to harsher process of law by adhering to the provisions of Section 82 of the cr.p.c.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 829 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
