The petitioner is aggrieved by an unauthorized construction effected by the private respondents on his land and complains of inaction by the Belur Police. 2.

During the pendency of the writ petition, Bally Municipality has found the construction of the private respondents illegal and has ordered the same to be demolished by the respondent themselves.

Since the private respondents have remedies in law against the order of the Bally Municipality, the writ petition shall stand disposed of directing the Belur Police to strictly comply with any order or request of the Bally Municipality for any assistance in carrying out any demolition. 4.

There shall be no order as to costs.
