1. The petitioners have alleged in the writ petition that the private respondents have encroached the land belonging to the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. In this regard, representations have been given enclosing certain photographs.

2. Prima facie we are of the view that there is some enmity between the private respondents and the writ petitions which has led to the filing of this writ petition. In any event, from the photographs it is seen that a small eatery has been established and the entire place is strewn with garbage.

3. The learned advocate for the private respondents submitted that they have a trade licence and they have also been granted permission by the Corporation. It is for the authorities to take steps without this court

issuing any directions for them to take recourse to law.

4. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
