The matter was adjourned on 22nd January, 2021 to enable the petitioner to receive the offer letter and make payment in terms thereof. It is submitted that the offer letter has been received by the petitioner and payment in terms thereof has been made on 27th January, 2021.

On behalf of CESC Limited, it is submitted that the petitioner needs to comply with certain formalities as indicated in the offer letter.

Subject to the petitioner fulfilling such formalities, CESC Limited is directed to give connection to petitioner within 8th February, 2021.

Nothing further remains to be adjudicated in this writ petition. The same is disposed of accordingly along with the connected application without any order as to costs.

Since I have not called for any affidavits, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted.
