REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 849 of 2025 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Asansol North Police Station Case No. 304 of 2024 dated 27.06.2024 under Sections 420/405/120B of the Indian Penal Code.

And In Re : Md. Sharique Iqbal alias Raja ...... petitioner Mr. Aniket Mitra Md. Kalam .....for the petitioner Ms. Anasuya Sinha, Ld. A.P.P., Ms. Purnima Ghosh .... For the State There is another police case as against the petitioner for similar offence.

Apparently, petitioner is misutilizing Government documents of borrowers of a finance company and was enriching himself.

Enlarging the petitioner on anticipatory bail will be inimical to the investigation and will also send a wrong signal to the society. It may impede the discovery of the proceeds of the crime.

In such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

Accordingly, C.R.M. (A) 849 of 2025 is dismissed. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Smita Das De, J.)
