1. The petitioner is aggrieved as the bank did not reply to the application for loan made by the petitioner.

2. Learned advocate for the bank submits that the petitioner has been verbally informed that the loan cannot be granted from the Kalyani Branch of the State Bank of India for the purpose of repairing of a house at Siliguri.

3. The instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the bank to intimate the petitioner the fate of his loan application within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
