1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today be kept with the records.

2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that his information to the Officer-in-Charge of Belghoria Police Station did not yield any result. I find that the basic accusation is against the Bank Authorities.

3. Learned Advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report. Let the same be kept with the records. The report reflects that the information which was furnished was transmitted to Chatterjeehat Police Station and consequently Chatterjeehat P.S.

Case No.34/24 dated 01.03.2024, has been registered for investigation. Subsequently, the notice has been served and investigation of the case is in progress. It has been

complained that no co-operation has been received from the Bank.

4. Learned Advocate appearing for the respondent no.7 submits that the Bank Authorities are unaware regarding any notice having been served by the Police Authorities of Cyber Crime Police Station, Howrah City Police.

5. Having considered the fact that investigation of the case is in progress, I direct that the respondent no.7 would respond to the queries which were addressed to the Branch Manager, Axis Bank of India, dated January 16, 2024. Let a copy of the said notice be handed over to learned Advocate appearing for the respondent no.7. The Bank Authority, within a period of a fortnight from date, is to respond to the Investigating Agency. Since the investigation has commenced, I also direct that the investigation to be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

6. Learned Advocate for the State is directed to hand over a copy of the report relating to Chatterjeehat P.S. Case No. 34/24 dated 01.03.2024 and the notices issued by the Officer-in-Charge, Cyber Crime Police Station, Howrah City Police, to learned Advocates for the petitioner and the respondent no.7.

7. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 5311 of 2024 is disposed of.

8. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
