As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr.

Benazir Ahmed, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State, is directed to represent the State. His appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

The petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities in respect of Kaliganj Police Station Case No. 811 of 2023 dated 12.11.2023. The said case was registered for investigation under Sections 341/325/326/354B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Having considered that the said case was registered on 12.11.2023 and the petitioners preferred this writ petition on February 2024, I am of the view that in case, till date the police authorities did not submit their report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, learned Magistrate would grant thirty days' time to the investigating agency to submit their report.

Petitioners would take steps as directed above before the jurisdictional court. Learned jurisdictional court would issue directions in the nature as has been pointed above.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 5321 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
