The Officer-in-Charge, Basanti Police Station, Baruipur Police District, has filed a report dated 04.04.2022, which is taken on record. It appears from the report that there are two cases Basanti P. S. Case No. 549 of 2020 dated 11.09.2020 and P. S. Case No. 310 of 2020 dated 02.06.2020, pending against the petitioner. Warrants of arrest issued by the Ld. Court of ACJM, Alipore are stated to be at large.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that his client obtained bail in both the matters, and that he wishes to rerun to his house.

In those circumstances, The Officer-in-Charge, Basanti Police Station, Baruipur Police District shall render all assistance to the writ petitioner to return to his residence on Wednesday (06.04.2022) at about 11 a.m.

The petitioner may report to the police station in the aforesaid date and time.

Counsel for the State shall communicate a copy of this order to the Basanti Police Station.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
