Pursuant to the statement made by the Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Appraising Refund Section (Port)/alleged contemnor made in Court on 25th August, 2023 through his counsel that he is ready and willing to comply with the order of this Court dated 12th August, 2022, alleged to have been violated if petitioner provides the relevant document as per Section 27(1) of the Customs Act which have been asked for and considering such statement of the alleged contemnor and the statement of learned senior counsel representing the petitioner that petitioner will submit the relevant documents before the authority

concerned within two weeks from date, this contempt application being WPCRC 162 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the alleged contemnor or his successor to make payment towards claim of refund in question within four weeks from the date of submission of the relevant documents which petitioner has agreed to submit within two weeks from date.

With this observation and direction, this contempt application being WPCRC 162 of 2023 is disposed off.
