1. The petitioner who is a political functionary seeks for consideration of his representation and to cause an enquiry into an alleged misappropriation of certain fund which is said to have been allotted under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. A translated copy of one of the representations has been given from which we find there are absolutely no details and the representation is vague. That apart, already a batch of cases are pending before this court concerning the very same scheme and directions have been issued from time to time and, therefore, a direction cannot be issued in this writ petition to direct the District Magistrate to conduct an enquiry since a Central team has already conducted an investigation in respect of four districts and report has been submitted and this court also issued certain other directions.

Therefore, the petitioner should await the decision in those cases

and then put forward his submission before the appropriate authority.

2. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
