Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody for 1 year 10 months and they have been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case for alleged recovery of 7 kgs. of brown sugar.

Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that next date has been fixed for examination of the accused persons under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Having considered the advanced stage of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioners on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.

Learned Trial Court would expedite the process of the trial and at the earliest, pronounce verdict within the schedule earlier directed on 13.05.2025 in CRM (NDPS) of 417 of 2025.

The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 443 of 2026, is, thus, disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
