It is submitted by the learned Public Prosecutor, High Court, Calcutta that the appellant has died inside the Correctional Home.

A report of the Superintendent, Midnapore Central Correctional Home dated 21st November, 2024 is also placed wherein it is indicated that the sole appellant has died on 18th December, 2012.

The said report of the Superintendent, Midnapore Central Correctional Home dated 21st November, 2024 is kept with the record.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, the instant criminal appeal, therefore, stands abated.
