The petitioner has filed a supplementary affidavit in terms of this Court's order dated 24th January, 2023 and the same is taken on record.

It appears that as many as three surgeries are required to restore the petitioner to the physical condition close to her original looks. The petitioner is also in need of engagement as she is getting Rs.5,000/- a month working with a NGO.

Learned counsel for the SLSA submits that the petitioner may have to apply formally in this regard before the SLSA.

The petitioner may, therefore, make a formal application before the Secretary, SLSA enclosing therewith copies of the orders passed in these proceedings and the supplementary affidavit.

The SLSA may take a suitable decision on the matter and also render any guidance to the petitioner to alleviate her situation.

The State Government shall, if recommended by the SLSA, also consider granting a suitable job to the petitioner for her upkeep and maintenance.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition being WPA 4110 of 2020 shall stand disposed of. In view of the order passed hereinabove, the writ petition being WPA 4111 of 2020 shall also stand disposed.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
