The father of the petitioner was an Assistant Teacher at a Primary School under Nadia District Primary School Council. On attaining the age of superannuation, the father of the petitioner had retired from his service on January 01, 1977 and had died on October 29, 1991 and on his death, his widow was getting the family pension who has also died on December 19, 2024.

The petitioner being the widowed daughter of the deceased teacher has applied for family pension. The petitioner is complaining delay in disposal of her said application.

Learned Advocate for the State files instruction dated March 11, 2025 which he has received from the District Inspector of Schools (Primary Education), Nadia, the respondent no.3 herein, let it be kept with the record.

It appears from the said instruction that the petitioner has not yet submitted the heirship and the income certificate with the authority. The petitioner is directed to submit the wanting documents within a period of one week from date and on submission of those documents, the Sub-Inspector of Schools (Primary Education) the respondent no.4 herein of the concerned Circle of the said Council shall take forward steps for consideration of the prayer of the petitioner. WPA 5188 of 2025 is, thus, disposed of without any order as to costs.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
