For the proforma respondent nos. 7 & 8 The present writ petition has been preferred praying for expeditious disposal of two original applications being OA No. 425 of 2023 and OA No. 2390 of 2015 in which the petitioner herein is the private respondent. Records reveal that the said original applications were preferred challenging notices under Section 4C of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955. One of the said original applications being OA NO. 2390 of 2015 was dismissed for default on two occasions and thereafter restored and the said original application ultimately came up for hearing before the learned Tribunal on 30th November, 2023 when the learned Tribunal directed both the original applications to appear under the heading 'To Be Mentioned' on 21st August, 2024.

This Court cannot issue direction for speedy disposal unless there is a justification or acceptable reasons for issuing any such direction.

Considering the sequence of facts, we are not inclined to issue any further direction upon the learned Tribunal since both the matters have already been directed to appear on 21st August, 2024 under the heading 'To Be Mentioned'.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
