2. With the consent finally heard.

3. The parties agreed that this PIL may be disposed of by permitting the petitioners to file a fresh comprehensive representation along with the photographs for the present grievance before the respondent no.9.

4. In the event such representation is preferred, respondent no.9 may be directed to decide the representation within 60 days therefrom.

5. In view of the consensus arrived at, PIL is disposed of by issuing following directions:

(a) The petitioners may prefer a comprehensive representation for the present grievance along with photographs/documents and submit it before the respondent no.9 along with the copy of this order.

(b) Respondent no.9 shall consider and decide the representation by a reasoned order in accordance with law within 60 days therefrom.

(c) In the event respondent no.9 deems it necessary, he may hear the interested/affected parties before taking a final decision.

(d) The outcome shall be communicated to the petitioners.

6. We have no doubt that if any illegal encroachment is found on the river bed, the respondents will take action for removing such encroachments in accordance with law and demolish the same.

7. This PIL stands disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case. ( SUJOY PAUL, J. ) ( SMITA DAS DE, J. )
